A.
A correctional unit shall ensure supervisory oversight of the BWC program in compliance with these regulations.
B.
A correctional unit shall ensure correctional officers or agents are wearing and using BWC equipment in accordance with agency policy.
C.
A correctional unit shall ensure random reviews of recordings are performed to:
(1)
Confirm procedures are being followed;
(2)
Recognize opportunities for additional training; and
(3)
Identify situations that may require procedural or operational changes.
D.
A correctional unit may designate an employee responsible for maintaining BWC systems and performing routine maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
