Regulation .06 Certifications of Compliance.

The legal authority of a school shall certify that the school is in compliance with the requirements for:

(1)

A criminal background check as specified in Family Law Article, Title 5, Subtitle 5, and Education Article, §2-206.1, Annotated Code of Maryland;

(2)

Reporting suspected child abuse and neglect as specified in Family Law Article, Title 5, Subtitle 7, Annotated Code of Maryland; and

(3)

Nondiscrimination based on race, color, or national origin as specified in Education Article, §2-206(e)(3), Annotated Code of Maryland.

The legal authority shall certify compliance with §A(1)—(3) of this regulation on forms provided by the Department.
