Professional and Technical Education and Specialized Areas for Fine Arts teachers shall meet the requirements for a license under Regulation .02 of this chapter. A Professional and Technical Education or Specialized Areas for Fine Arts license shall only be used for instruction in a specialized program or at a specialized school. A local school system, State-operated school, or nonpublic school approved under COMAR 13A.09.10 shall request an initial Professional and Technical Education or Specialized Areas for Fine Arts license. An individual licensed in Professional and Technical Education or Specialized Areas for Fine Arts who is no longer employed with a local school system, State-operated school, or nonpublic school approved under COMAR 13A.09.10 may request the renewal of that license directly from the Department.
