The requirements for licensure as a supervisor of school counseling are that the applicant shall:
A.
Meet the requirements for licensure as a school counselor;
B.
Have 3 years of effective performance as a school counselor;
C.
Complete 3 semester hours or State-approved CPD credits in special education coursework; and
D.
Have 12 semester hours of graduate credit from an institution of higher education in any of the following areas, with at least 6 semester hours in school supervision or school administration:
(1)
Management;
(2)
School supervision;
(3)
School administration;
(4)
Program development; or
(5)
Program evaluation.
