A.
Purpose. This chapter establishes requirements for approval to operate an educational program in a nonpublic nursery school.
B.
Scope. This chapter does not apply to an educational program in a nonpublic nursery school operated by:
(1)
The federal government or any State, county, or municipal agency or division of these; or
(2)
A bona fide church organization that is exempt from holding a certificate of approval by the State Board under Education Article, §2-206, Annotated Code of Maryland.
