Regulation .04 Classifications of Public Schools.

The classifications for public schools under these standards are as follows:

Elementary School, which houses pre-kindergarten through grade 5 or any subset thereof;

Middle School, which houses grade 6 through grade 8;

High School, which houses grade 9 through grade 12;

Combination School, which houses a combination of any grade levels; and

Other School, which includes but is not limited to the following:

(1)

Early-childhood-education centers;

(2)

Special-education centers;

(3)

Career-technology centers; and

(4)

Alternative-education schools.
