Regulation .09 Buffer Zone.

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, a producer shall maintain at least a 25-foot buffer zone separating land in a farm unit being managed organically from other land.

A producer may be required by the Department to maintain a buffer zone wider than 25 feet and to take other precautionary measures if the use of the adjacent land presents a threat to the organic status of the farm unit.
