An employee is allowed up to 4 hours leave with pay to take examinations and attend interviews for State positions. The appointing authority may:
A.
Require prior approval of the interview or examination leave request;
B.
Require verification of the examination taken or interview attended; and
C.
Limit the number of interviews, and time allotted, when abuse is apparent.
