Utility customers eligible for energy assistance from the Maryland Energy Assistance Program (MEAP) are eligible for participation in the Utility Service Protection Program, provided that the customer: Complies with the application procedures set forth in Regulation .05; and Secures reconnection of any terminated gas or electric service by making the designated payment for outstanding arrearages described in Regulation .08.
