Regulation .07 Customer on Budget Billing with Utility at Time of Switch.

If a customer is on budget billing at the time of transfer to supplier-consolidated billing service from utility-consolidated billing or sales service, the utility shall provide a customer an alternative payment plan upon request if the budget deficit is greater than $100.

The utility shall inform the customer that the customer may be unable to switch to another supplier providing supplier-consolidated billing until a payment plan as described in §A of this regulation is paid in full.

A customer may choose to pay the budget deficit in full at any time.
