After the Board approves an election schedule, the Executive Director shall notify all eligible voters of the upcoming election. The election notice shall include: The election schedule approved by the Board of Trustees; An explanation of the eligibility requirements to serve as a trustee set forth in State Personnel and Pensions Article, §21-104, Annotated Code of Maryland, and this chapter; and Any other information the Executive Director considers necessary. The Executive Director shall circulate the election notice by: Distributing the election notice to retirement coordinators of all participating employers for posting; Publishing the election notice in Retirement Agency newsletters; Posting the election notice on the Retirement Agency website; and Using any other method the Executive Director considers appropriate to notify eligible voters of the election.
