Regulation .01 Purpose and Administrative Responsibilities.

Purpose. This chapter establishes the standards and procedures applicable to the construction, abandonment and maintenance of wells in Maryland.

Pre-emption of Local Authority. In accordance with Environment Article, §9-1304, Annotated Code of Maryland, the regulations of this chapter are the only procedures and standards applicable to construction of wells.
