A.
The records shall be stored in a secured computer system and secured laboratory files according to State Police standard operating procedures and CODIS requirements.
B.
Records and specimen information shall be identified by:
(1)
A unique laboratory tracking number;
(2)
Name of the donor;
(3)
State identification number;
(4)
Date of birth;
(5)
Name and place of collection;
(6)
Collector's name;
(7)
Date sample was taken;
(8)
Type of offense;
(9)
Race; and
(10)
Sex.
C.
Verification of identity shall be conducted by the Latent Print Unit on the fingerprints found on the DNA data base information/chain of custody card.
