Regulation .09 Penalties.

Unless otherwise exempt, a person may not inspect, test, perform maintenance on, install, repair, modify, or lay out any fire sprinkler system in a residential or commercial building in the State without first obtaining the appropriate license required under this chapter.

A person who violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, is subject to a fine of $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than 10 days, or both.
