This subtitle establishes: Procedures for designating a hospital as a trauma or specialty referral center; Standards for a designated center to provide trauma or specialty care service; Procedures for disciplinary action to be taken if a trauma or specialty referral center fails to comply with this subtitle; and Procedures for the collection and use of trauma or specialty care data by MIEMSS to monitor and evaluate the trauma and specialty care systems.
