Regulation .12 Equipment.

A burn unit shall have:

At least four burn unit beds with critical care capacity; and

The following equipment in the adult burn center:

(1)

Weight measurement devices for kilogram measurement;

(2)

Difficult airway equipment capable for surgical intervention;

(3)

Emergency carts with age-appropriate equipment; and

(4)

Temperature control/measurement devices for:

(a)

The patient;

(b)

Intravenous fluids; and

(c)

Blood products.
