The hospital shall: Assist MIEMSS with developing, monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of EMS training programs; Offer and participate in formal pediatric trauma CE for hospital personnel and community health care clinicians; Have a pediatric surgery fellowship program accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME); Participate in a general surgical residency program accredited by the ACGME; Participate in a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship program; and Participate in undergraduate medical and nursing education.
