### Chapter 19 — Designated Thrombectomy-Capable Primary Stroke Center Standards

#### Regulation .09 Neuroimaging Services.

*COMAR 30.08.19.09*

In addition to meeting the requirements of COMAR 30.08.11.09, a hospital designated as a thrombectomy-capable primary stroke center shall have the following diagnostic capability available when indicated:

A. Carotid duplex ultrasound;

B. Transcranial ultrasonography; and

C. Transesophageal/transthoracic echocardiogram.
