Each ambulance shall carry the following fracture immobilization equipment: One full spinal immobilization board for transportation or equivalent; One half spinal immobilization device; One orthopedic or clamshell stretcher or equivalent; Three 9-foot straps with buckles; Two long padded board splints approximately 54 inches by 3 inches; Two medium padded board splints approximately 36 inches by 3 inches; Two short padded board splints approximately 15 inches by 3 inches; and Rigid extrication collars in the following adult sizes: Two adjustable; or One of each of the following: Medium (regular), Small (short), and Extra small (no-neck or neckless).
