To the extent that an entity subject to Regulation .04A or B of this chapter establishes procedures specific to a disaster or emergency event for consumers to use, such as specific contact phone numbers, the entity may use alternative forms of communication to notify consumers of these procedures. Examples of alternative forms of communication referenced in §A of this regulation include, but are not limited to: Press releases; Public service announcements; Placing information in local newspapers; and Posting information on the carrier's website.
