Based on the information reviewed during a market conduct analysis the Commissioner may, in the Commissioner's sole discretion: Broaden the scope and period of the market conduct analysis; Conduct a market conduct investigation or market conduct examination; Issue an order; or Take any other action authorized or reasonably implied by Insurance Article, Annotated Code of Maryland. If the Commissioner conducts a market conduct investigation, the Commissioner may, in the Commissioner's sole discretion, based on the information reviewed during the market conduct investigation: Broaden the scope and period of the market conduct investigation; Conduct a market conduct examination; Issue an order; or Take any other action authorized or reasonably implied by Insurance Article, Annotated Code of Maryland. If the Commissioner conducts a market conduct examination, the Commissioner may, in the Commissioner's sole discretion, based on the information reviewed during the market conduct examination: Conduct a market conduct investigation of a particular matter; Broaden the scope and period of the market conduct examination; Issue an order; or Take any other action authorized or reasonably implied by Insurance Article, Annotated Code of Maryland.
