Regulation .07 Time for Rendering Final Decisions on Complaints.Copy Citation

A.
Except for an emergency case as provided in COMAR 31.10.18.05 or as provided in §B of this regulation, the Commissioner shall make a final written decision on a complaint within 45 days after a complaint is filed.
B.
The Commissioner may extend the period within which a final written decision is to be made under §A of this regulation for up to an additional 30 working days if the:
(1)
Commissioner has not yet received the information requested by the Commissioner; and
(2)
Information requested is necessary for the Commissioner to render a final written decision on the complaint.
