Capability. The ExpressVote unit shall: Display a voter’s correct ballot; Allow a voter to make and change selections on a touchscreen interface, and Print a ballot activation card with the voter’s selections. The voting booth used with the ExpressVote unit shall be constructed and controlled so that, while voting is in progress, an individual may not: Tamper with the device; or Unless assisting a voter as authorized by law, see or know the voter’s selections. Audio Ballot. The ExpressVote unit shall be capable of presenting an audio ballot. The audio ballot shall include instructions for: Adjusting volume of the speech; Selecting a candidate; Navigating through the contest list; Entering the name of a write-in candidate; Marking the ballot; and Printing the ballot.
