The judges’ manual shall provide detailed closing procedures, including: How to tally voted ballots in the emergency ballot compartment; How to document the public counter and protective counter totals on the precinct tabulator; How to end the election; How to print, sign, and post total reports; How to remove the memory devices from the voting equipment; How to remove and seal the ballot transfer bin; How to seal and store the voting equipment; and How to return materials to the local board or counting center.
