Regulation .02 Establishment of Toll-Free Telephone Number.LinkCopy Citation
A.
The Insurance Commissioner shall establish a toll-free telephone number to assist and educate consumers concerning the purchase of private passenger automobile insurance.
B.
The Commissioner may provide to callers educational materials that may include a rate guide or list of insurance producers and insurers.
C.
The Commissioner may not recommend to callers specific insurers or insurance producers.
D.
The toll-free telephone number shall be published in the private passenger automobile insurance rate guide prepared by the Commissioner.
Regulation .03 Data.LinkCopy Citation
A.
The Commissioner shall maintain a record of calls received on the toll-free telephone number set forth in Regulation .02A of this chapter which includes the following information:
(1)
The zip code and county of the caller; and
(2)
The date and summary of the purpose of the call.
B.
The Commissioner shall prepare a quarterly report which includes the information required in §A of this regulation.
